Season Summary 2008 ·

men started the season and 138 received awards ·

men grades 5-12 were in the summer cross country program ·
We
raised over $9,000 during our annual run-a-thon ·
48
guys participated in the Oregon camp and Coach McRaven from Illinois was our
guest speaker. ·
We
were team champions at the Hornet Red Devil, Culver, and Sterling
Invitationals. ·
Our
sophomore team went undefeated – again (at least in Illinois, we were)! ·
We
were Conference champions at all levels and individually placed first in
every race. ·
Danny
Pawola was the individual conference champion and was fifth in the State
meet. He also qualified for Footlocker
Nationals by finishing ninth in the Regional meet. ·
We
finished second at the IHSA Regional Meet, third at the IHSA Sectional meet,
and placed fourth in the IHSA State Meet. ·
Arguably,
we were the best fourth place team in the history of Illinois. ·
We
finished fifth at the Nike Cross Country Regional Championships and ended the
season ranked 24th in the country. |
